It has been a while since I wrote something here. I've loads of post sitting in my post queue, so I might sort it out and release some of it. Anyways, today I'll keep the post to the point. Many websites that contain information on making homebrew for the original XBOX has been gone offline, so it took me a while to find the most recent copies of the websites. Here are some useful links containing info on XBOX homebrew.
A useful tool for dumping the PE: There is an original XDK floating around, but I've no idea if it is of any use without the original developer's XBOX included with the devkit. Worth a try to investigate. This is the most complete homebrew xdk I could find: At last: there is a tutorial series on how the use the XDK still floating around on the web. The same webpage has also tutorials on the OpenXDK. I hope to acquire an original XBOX from a friend of mine, so I could give it a shot. Sounds like a tough but fun challenge!. As for writing homebrew apps for the PSP: I am still going that, and continuing to do so. I got a basic framework working in ANSI C, and will look later into the GPU of the PSP.
